About Pat Carr I was born in Louisiana and grew up listening to some great Southern soul and R&B from artists such as Irma Thomas, Professor Longhair, Slim Harpo, Rufus Thomas, Clarence Frogman Henry, and Aaron Neville. I was also listening to rock & roll, blues, jazz, and country at an early age and started playing piano and guitar. I began my professional musical endeavors by playing and singing in the streets and clubs of the French Quarter. Not long after, I moved to Colorado where I've played guitar, bass, and mandolin as a solo and in a variety of duos, trios, and bands. I've played folk, rock, country, and bluegrass, but I always loved Blues the best. My New blues CD, Some Kind of Blues is available now! Click on the "Catalog" button. Put Yourself In My Place, my first CD, is a collection of songs drawn from all of my early influences. It contains over an hour of blues, blues-rock, and a little bit of rock, soul, jazz, and country. The title song is one of my gospel blues tunes. Check them out on CD Baby, or click on Catalog. Click SONGS to hear some New song clips. "Stuck With Chuck" "Street Cruise" "Cool Rain, Warm Tears" "Nola Blues" and "Dancin' With Diane"
