About Pat Carr
Pat was born in Louisiana and grew up listening to some great Southern soul and R&B from artists such as Irma Thomas, Professor Longhair, Slim Harpo, Rufus Thomas, Clarence Frogman Henry, and Aaron Neville. He was also listening to rock & roll, blues, jazz, and country at an early age and started playing piano and guitar.
Pat began his professional musical endeavors by playing and singing in the streets and clubs of the French Quarter. Not long after, he moved to Colorado where he has played guitar, bass, and mandolin as a solo and in a variety of duos, trios, and bands.
“I’ve played folk, rock, country, and bluegrass, but I always loved Blues the best.” Pat Carr
